This is one of our most popular songs which appeared on the "New Blue" album. This demo helped me to attract a backing band and start the whole thing off. This is the early version which got changed a bit later on.

This song was recorded in a row house 3/4 height basement in Little Italy area of Baltimore, MD with myself playing all the instruments. These demos were about getting the song out of my head and all the parts in one place, so I could hear how it flowed or not. Mess ups are not corrected, sometimes lyrics repeated or just said for rhythm, and drums were not my most practiced instrument. These demos were like paintings or journal entries I decided to hold back or to bring to the band members or labels at the time to see if it stuck and they didn't for one reason or another. One of my favorite parts of the songwriting process are these times alone with myself and hearing my song come to life through the recording.
